Travelling

I recently took a long plane ride with my little girl and had a chance to observe human nature in action....both good and bad.

First to all the lovely people who helped me---Thank you. You understood that I was not trying to block your way, but was simply a mom with a 20 pound kid strapped to her chest. I can only do so much, so fast.

Second---please hang up your phone. No is that important that they must talk "business" while the plane is loading. Especially when your business is what to have for dinner.

Third--No I don't want my kid to sleep on the plane. I prefer her scream, cry, and kick the seat during the whole trip. That's a comment about as encouraging as "how much weight have you gained during your pregnancy?"

Fourth--be nice to to the flight attendant. They have a crappy job giving you coke and shoving your bags into the too small overhead bin.

Fifth--If you're not going to shower before the plane, at least put on deodorant.

I promise something more insightful next time. For now, I'm still recovering from the plane ride.

Your comments about air travel are right on - those long flights can be a real experience with the lack of deodorant on board! I think you were very brave to come all by yourself with little Mc. She's a real cutie by the way!
