Well, Skye and I are in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Which is according to our host is the middle of North America. I know that seems untrue at first glance, but there is actually lot of Canada above the border that we forgot about.
Anyway, Skye has had a wonderful but busy time teaching over the past couple of weeks. And I have been forced to study for my exam the last couple of days. The campus is quite lovely and our hosts were great. But I'm afraid to say the we may have crossed off Manitoba on our list of places to live. It's very flat--scary flat and windy. Then there's the snow in the winter....hummmmm. The 80 degree weather in SC is suddenly looking very good.
Skye is very happy to watch hockey in Canada where people understand the sport and likes the way people say pasta here. Oh how he misses proper English.
But that's where we are. So go check out a map and see if our host were lying to us. lisa and skye
